GO PC 2018
saturday september 15

WELCOME TO GO PULASKI COUNTY!

Most of us have a built in desire to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.  GO PC is a one-day initiative intended to feed that desire and improve the community we live in.  Folks of all ages and skill sets will have the opportunity to participate in one of dozens of work projects across the county to help local schools, churches, recreation departments, and other non-profit organizations.  Find out how you can volunteer your time, submit a project proposal, or donate to GOPC.

Go Pulaski County is a great way to volunteer your time and talents back to our community. There is something for everybody to do. It is a good day of fun and fellowship letting our hands do God's work. I would recommend Go Pulaski County to everyone!!!

You've Got questions, we got answers

This is the big question. GO PC is one day a year when volunteers of all ages come together to serve on one of numerous work projects across Pulaski County that benefit local schools, libraries, parks, neighborhoods, etc. in an effort to stimulate a sense of community and to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.

Saturday September 15

Registration from 8-8:45am

Projects run from 9am – 3pm from (ending time varies on project).

Work sites are scattered across Pulaski County. We have divided the county into six geographic regions, with hopes to eventually have projects organized in each of the regions. Each region will have an assigned “hub” location that will serve as the central meeting place for all work projects organized in that region.

Volunteers will arrive to their designated hub at 8am on the day of GO PC. There you will take care of any last minute registration needs, receive your GO PC T-shirt, be
given any last minute instructions, etc. Volunteers will be dismissed to head to their work sites and begin taking care of business.

All volunteers will be required to sign a liability form.

All ages are welcome. Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian

  • Click our How to Volunteer button (located above or on the Get Involved tab)
  • Once you complete the form you should receive a confirmation email
  • Our volunteer coordinators will assign you to a work project based on your application
  • You will be contacted either by your assigned project leader

Volunteer Registration will open JUNE 15

Work/garden gloves, water bottle (water will be provided throughout the day), appropriate shoes, sunscreen, & a good attitude. LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED. If you have a food allergy, you may want to provide your own just in case.

If you have any ideas for future work projects, you can click the submit project button (located above or on the Get Involved tab). Once your proposal is accepted, you will be contacted by our project management team and requested to fill out a project spec sheet to determine the specifics regarding the proposed project (i.e. number of volunteers, tools,
resources, funds needed to complete the project).
